School of Art has always attached importance to the discipline construction as a leader, promoting professional construction and postgraduate training through the discipline construction. In 2005, the right to grant a master's degree in Fine Arts was received and recruited students in 2007. College of Master of Arts (MFA) degree authorization and Industrial Design Engineering master degree authorization has a wide range and the complete level. At present, 90 graduates are studying.

Art History and Art Archeology

Art History and Art Archeology direction contains three aspects.

1.The History of Art, mainly studies and does research on the development of Chinese art and foreign art. For the historical issues, a systematic study and researches on the special subjects are conducted;

2.Art Theory, which is based on the theoretical perspective, focuses on the development and application of art ideas;

3.Art Archeology, which is combined with art and archeology research, studies art development of the art of modeling, function, concept and aesthetics on the basis of the practical archaeological excavation

4.Non-material cultural heritage-related projects, are combined with local resources on the intangible cultural heritage protection, preservation, development of academic research and theoretical summary.

The goal of this direction is to cultivate talents who can carry out independent academic research in the fields of painting history, architectural history, sculpture history, national folk art, religious art, painting aesthetics, intangible cultural heritage and provide preparatory talents for high-level academic research.

Research on the Application of Plastic Art

The application of Stylus Art includes three main aspects of learning and research.

1.The history of the Use of Plastic Arts Heritage, mainly studies the ancient craft modeling in the creation and development of the creation in the history of art, and carries out special studies on the historical issues;

Research on Painting and Calligraphy

Painting and calligraphy research direction contains three aspects.
