Prof. Terashita Yoichi from KCGI (Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics) Visited JSU


On Apr. 7th, Prof. Terashita Yoichi from KCGI (Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics) Visited JSU. Prof. Yuan Shouqi met with the guest at the convention center, as well as some principals who come from the International Office, the Art School and the Language and Culture Center have attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Prof. Yuan Shouqi extended a warm welcome to Prof. Terashita Yoichi to visit JSU and introduced the development situation of JSU. Prof. Terashita Yoichi also introduced the overall situation of KCGI and reached a cooperation with the Art School. Those projects including Joint training of subjects related with Media Art, Animation Design and Visual Communication, Short-term project cooperation and Language and cultural exchange between China and Japan in summer etc.

During the visiting, Prof. Terashita Yoichi had visited Creation of Public Art Labs and Animation Labs in the Art School. Another, Prof. Terashita Yoichi had made an academic report about “Academic Freedom and Independence ——IT technology into the field of Art Design” for the Art School at 2 p.m. on Apr. 7th.

The KCGI (Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics) inherits traditional and outstanding achievement of the original computer education institution in Japan and has set up the original Expertise Graduate School in Japan. The school-running aim of the KCGI is to train highly specialized professionals with across information and IT processing. At present, the KCGI is leading level in Asia with the fields what are Animation Design, Game Design etc.
