Jiangsu university school of arts holds an international conference on "intelligent innovation in art and design: the state of art, technology and human factors"

Art and design are the bridge connecting spiritual civilization and material civilization. Human beings hope to transform the world, improve the environment and improve the quality of human life through design. With the rapid development of society, intelligent technology is gradually penetrating into every aspect of people's life, especially bringing new development and innovation opportunities to art design.

Based on this background, sponsored by the art institute of Jiangsu University, Jiangsu University library, Zhongsen architectural design co. co-organized the meeting "Intelligent innovation in art and design: art state, technology and human factors" as the theme of the international conference, held in Jiangsu University in June 1, the academic BBS a total of 10 guests invited keynote speech. At the beginning of BBS, vice principal Zhang Jijian came to the scene and gave a welcoming speech, followed by Stephen Richard drowned, Cheryl Zhenyu Qian, Victor Yingjie Chen, Kim Pyeoungkee, and Kwon, Eunsook, five guests brought wonderful academic lectures.

Professor Stephen Richard Drown from the department of landscape architecture at the university of Idaho taking landscape architecture as an example. Professor Stephen introduces the four principles of interaction between people and the environment: Novelty, Complexity, Uncertainty and Conflict. He also elaborates his viewpoints through cases.

In the following report, Cheryl Zhenyu Qian, professor of the school of art and design at purdue university in the United States, brought design discussions in the era of Internet of things to teachers and students present. It sorts out the generation process of the Internet of things era and discusses the role and possibility of designers in the flying Internet of things era.

Victor Yingjie Chen, tenured professor at purdue university, discusses the aesthetics and perception of visualization of design information in depth. He used relevant data visualization cases to show the significance and value of information visualization in the era of big data for teachers and students present.

South Korea Woosong University computer engineering S/W professor Kim Pyeoungkee, based on the environment of the fourth industrial revolution, opened on GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) is introduced. It elaborates GAN's application in architecture, products, art and other fields in detail. He points out that fully automated design is still a long way off, and that truly unattended and innovative design is unlikely until the era of strong artificial intelligence. Creativity is the most important content of design education in the era of artificial intelligence, and designers' acuity and humanistic care should be valued. In the future form of design, the role of the Designer is to decide WHAT to design. Artificial intelligence focuses on the problem of HOW to design.

Creative design thinking and design strategy development experts Kwon and Eunsook introduced the transformation design research on the integration of art and technology. She proposed that Translational design provides a guiding framework for design practice and design education, in which creativity, interdisciplinary communication, and problem-based or project-based design discussions are of great significance. She believes that under the framework of the integration of art and technology, designers need to master human-oriented design philosophy, universal design and sustainable design. Professor Kwon believes that student-centered cooperative learning and active learning are very important. Correspondingly, researchers need to conduct natural inquiry mode and participatory and active research under this framework. Industry, on the other hand, should focus on technological innovation, globalization and sustainable development.

On the afternoon of that day, five academic guests, Chun HyunJin, Harry den Hartog, Kim TongJin, Huang Chien Hwa and Lee Yu Ching, respectively, presented two topics of "interdisciplinary design research and design education" and "design and perception".

Chun, HyunJin, associate professor of school of art, nanjing university of aeronautics and astronautics, launched digital cultural landscape design in heritage landscape and tourism planning for scholars present. Through the application of GIS technology in heritage landscape analysis, web design and tourism planning, this paper shows the application of technology in cultural heritage landscape to scholars

Harry den Hartog, an independent urban designer, offers an in-depth analysis of the promise and realization of low-carbon design through three social technology experiments in Shanghai. In his speech, he introduced in detail the specific objectives, technical methods and experimental procedures of the three technical experiments.

Kim TongJin, associate professor of industrial design at Purdue University, brings the possibility of future user experience to scholars. In his speech, he mentioned the integration of Input device and Output device in human-computer interaction. Taking the interaction of wearable design as an example, he proposed that the human body could be used as an organic self-running system combining data input and data application. At the end of his presentation, he mentioned that the important task of designers is to use today's technology to build and optimize the user experience of the future.

Huang Chien Hwa, a top designer in Taiwan, discussed The myth of innovation through specific design cases. In his speech, he put forward the conceptual difference between innovation and creativity, believing that innovation is to improve the original way of use, no matter innovation of form, material, technology, way of use or business model, it is to achieve better design results. Finally, Lee Yu Ching, a teacher at the school of art at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, discussed everything from designing products to designing aspirations. In her speech, she mentioned the difference between the use value and exchange value of goods. The relationship between product design and consumer demand is discussed from the aspects of packaging, the construction of myth and the atmosphere of commodity space.

Ten high-quality keynote speeches delivered by teachers and students and many industry experts on how to integrate information technology and modern art design as the main line discussed how to promote the integration and application of the new generation of intelligent technology in the fields of culture and education. Art institute of the international conference is based on the jiangsu university in recent years is focused on the connotation development, in-depth implementation of the "high levels, have distinguishing feature, internationalization" of the development strategy and planning, through a number of domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of innovative design of academic sharing, creating communication platform, common communication design innovation practice experience, to share and discuss information era under the background of the development trend of art design, key technology and mechanism, to make art and design in front of the new goal, new opportunities, inheritance, carry forward the culture, to speed up the innovation, a breakthrough!
