On the morning of March 4th, the Art School held the "Working Meeting of the Executive Committee for the Jiangsu Region of the 5th Oriental Creative Star Design Competition" online. Participants included Zhao Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Art School; Han Rong, Dean of the Art School; Sha Chunfa, Vice Dean; Li Xiao, Associate Professor; and Wang Ju, Secretary-General of the Competition Organizing Committee.

During the meeting, Secretary-General Wang Ju introduced the continuous growth and development of the competition's brand influence, showed the current progress of various regions across the country, and interpreted the unified requirements and development plans for organizing the 5th competition in 2024. Dean Han Rong introduced the school's preparation and promotion plan for the competition, proposing the idea of effectively integrating academic activities and discipline competitions to collaboratively create a branded competition with prominent impact on discipline competitions, outstanding contributions to talent cultivation, and remarkable results in academic activities. Secretary Zhao Ming affirmed the educational support of the competition and expressed his expectations for its subsequent development, detailed concepts, direction expansion, platform consolidation, and other aspects, while pledging full support for the school's competition organization work.

Both parties exchanged experiences and achievements from the 4th competition and conducted in-depth discussions on specific tasks for the 5th competition in 2024, including hosting conditions, personnel deployment, competition blueprint, and organizational implementation plans, reaching a consensus and laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the competition.
