In the afternoon of September 24, the School of Art invited Mr. Guo Qingsheng, Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the "Future Designer" National College Digital Art and Design Competition, and Mr. Cai Yichen, the Competition Operator, to the school to give an excellent speech introducing the competition to our teachers and students. After the speech, they discussed the cooperation mode of "school competition" and reached an initial cooperation intention. In addition, Secretary Zhu Lixin of the Party Committee, President Han Rong, Vice Secretary Fan Yirong, Vice President Zhang Kai, Vice President Zhang Wenli, Section Chief Jia Zhihong of the Academic Affairs Office, and key teachers of each department attended the event.

Vice President Zhang Kai hosted the event, and Zhu Lixin, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, welcomed the arrival of the two guests. Then, he fully affirmed the positive role played by the National College Digital Art and Design Competition in enhancing the college's artistic creation atmosphere, helping professional construction, and accumulating milestones for the construction and declaration of national first-class majors. Furthermore, he summarized the excellent achievements made by the College of Art in the last two competitions. Finally, he expressed his gratitude to the competition's organizing committee for its hard work.

Mr. Guo Qingsheng gave a speech with "Future Designer Competition Helps Future Designers Grow." Combining with the competition, he put forward the quality requirements that future designers should have from several aspects: design ability, global vision, interdisciplinary ability, expression and packaging ability, business ability, and technology ability. Then, he introduced the five highlights of this year's competition, the evaluation criteria and selection process, as well as a preview of some of the tracks of the next competition.

After the speech, the head of the Department of Academic Affairs Jia Zhihong and the College of Arts leadership team had an in-depth communication and cooperation discussion with Mr. Guo Qingsheng. They reached initial cooperation intentions in extending school-enterprise cooperation, construction of the dual-innovation base, cooperation in the National University Design Professional Teaching Ability Competition, faculty capacity enhancement, international talent training program, and new professional curriculum construction. This kind of "school-competition" cooperation will help the college to promote "teaching by competition", "learning by competition," and "innovation by competition" in the future. The cooperation will have a positive effect on the future promotion and reform of the college in the areas of "teaching through competition," "learning through competition," and "innovation through competition."
