From October 24 to 26, a delegation of over 10 faculty and student representatives from Jiangsu University, organized by the School of Arts, traveled to Harbin, Heilongjiang Province to participate in the 2025 National Finals of the 13th National College Students' Digital Media Technology Works and Creative Competition. The event attracted participation from over 1,600 universities worldwide, with nearly 170,000 entries submitted and more than 500,000 participants. Ultimately, over 1,900 teams advanced to the offline national finals.
Our university's competition team, through their innovative works integrating "digital intelligence and creativity", successfully secured 4 first prizes, 6 second prizes, and 25 third prizes in the national competition after rigorous evaluations by industry experts. This achievement demonstrates a dual improvement in both quantity and quality compared to the previous session. The award-winning projects span multiple fields including intelligent interaction design and digital imaging creation, showcasing Jiangsu University students' cross-disciplinary breakthroughs in technological application and artistic expression.
This competition not only serves as the annual flagship event in digital media but also establishes an educational platform that "promotes learning through competition and enhances teaching through competition." Our university's outstanding achievements demonstrate both the professional faculty's solid expertise in integrating industry standards into instruction and validate the remarkable effectiveness of our "competition-driven practical teaching" model. These accomplishments have cultivated a cohort of interdisciplinary innovative talents for the digital creative industry.
