The 7th China Auto Modeling Competition in 2018 hosted by the China Automotive Engineering Society, which started in March and passed the preliminary, semi-final and finals, ended on October 15th in Shiyan, Hubei. The three teams composed of 15th and 16th grade industrial design and product design professional transportation design students won the third prize and two excellent awards. Our school won the Outstanding Organization Award and the Outstanding Instructor Award.

The theme of this event is the theme of Laozi’s Tao Te Ching, which is “Tao, Very Road”. It aims to reflect on the design methods of cars from the West from the traditional Chinese culture and Chinese way of thinking, and explore the road of automobile design in China in the new era. . The students of our school have explained the understanding of Tao culture with the words "and", "Tongguang and Dust" and "Dao-Chi" respectively, and used the "Tao" thinking to think and solve the traffic problems. He Taile, Pan Senqiang, and Yu Junyi’s “He” won the third prize. The first prize was won by the team of Wuhan University of Technology and the team of Hubei Automotive College.

In this competition, the students of our school exchanged ideas with the top experts in the domestic automotive design industry, which has a positive effect on expanding our students' horizons and improving their ability in all aspects.
