On April 28, the School of Arts hosted a presentation on its 2025 Overseas Study Program in Italy at Room 1302. Attendees included counselor Ms.Jiao Menglu from the School of Arts, Mr.Tao Yixuan from the AAP Project Management Office, and undergraduate and graduate students interested in the program.
First, Professor Tao introduced the relevant details of Milan Design Week-China's University Design Discipline Excellent Works Exhibition Competition to the students, including the number of entries, types of entries, and award-winning results. He then proceeded to introduce the National Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and this year's Italian summer short-term program. The short-term program will be launched in Italy in July 2024, with key aspects covered including project timeline, costs, teaching formats, program features, and learning outcomes. Professor Tao emphasized that students can collaborate with professors across multiple academic fields such as technology and civilization, ecology and sustainability, service and interaction. Notably, this program breaks away from traditional teaching models by offering offline English instruction with Chinese interpretation throughout the course.
In conclusion, counselor Ms.Jiao Menglu guided students through the application process for international exchange programs, urging them to plan ahead and actively participate in short-term study abroad initiatives. This seminar not only deepened students' understanding of overseas exchange opportunities but also provided fresh perspectives for their personal growth. Furthermore, it introduced new resources for cultivating global talents within the college, fostering a vibrant environment that promotes "diversified development and internationalization" across the institution.
