On March 26, the School of Art hosted a master's direct enrollment guidance seminar for art disciplines at Chinese and French universities in Room 1308. The event focused on short-term and advanced programs in art studies between China and France, aiming to provide international learning opportunities for art students. Led by project coordinator Mr.Zhou, the seminar was attended by counselor Jiao Menglu from the School of Art, along with over 100 undergraduate and graduate students interested in overseas study or exchange programs.
During the presentation session, Professor Zhou provided a detailed explanation of the master's direct enrollment program, semester exchange programs, and summer study abroad opportunities under the China-France Joint Art Education Program. He elaborated on the broader context of art education, professional resources in the design field, master's curriculum modules, and daily life in France. He specifically introduced suitable French universities for various disciplines including Visual Communication Design, Animation, Digital Media, Environmental Art Design, Fine Arts, Product Design, and Industrial Design. The discussion also addressed the value, significance, and potential risks of overseas study in today's context, while highlighting the advantages of the China-France joint art education program. Professor Zhou further shared specific application procedures, required fees, and practical information about life in France during the joint training period.
Finally, counselor Jiao Menglu introduced the operation process of project registration to the students and suggested that they make early plans and actively participate in international exchange and short-term exchange programs.
The successful implementation of the China-France Higher Education Guidance Conference for Art Master's Direct Advancement not only enhanced art students' understanding of the program curriculum, provided new perspectives for their growth and development, but also offered fresh resources for cultivating international talents.
