On February 19th, Professor Yang Daojian, standing Committee member of the Party Committee and vice president of the university, visited the School of Art to investigate and guide the work.

Zhao Ming, Party Committee Secretary of the School of Arts, presented the college's recent key initiatives, highlighting achievements in Party building, safety and stability maintenance, ideological education, and talent recruitment. Dean Han Rong reviewed progress toward the 14th Five-Year Plan targets while analyzing challenges and strategies for institutional development bottlenecks. Vice Dean Zhu Zhe outlined graduate management and internationalization efforts, while Vice Dean Sha Chunfa detailed undergraduate teaching operations, national first-class program evaluations, and teacher education accreditation processes.
Vice President Yang Daojian highly commended the college leadership for their united efforts in advancing all academic endeavors and the remarkable achievements made. He also offered constructive suggestions to address current challenges. The vice president emphasized the need for the leadership team to conduct thorough research, systematically identify developmental gaps, proactively tackle existing issues, build sustainable capabilities based on institutional realities, secure multi-channel support, and elevate all academic initiatives to new heights.
