On November 16, 2024, the 12th Future Design Education Forum and the National Finals of the Future Designer · National Teaching Innovation Competition for Art and Design Teachers (NDTC) were held ceremoniously in Chongqing. This grand event was jointly hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chongqing Jiaotong University, and the Future Designer Competition Organizing Committee, bringing together experts, scholars, university leaders, teachers, students, and industry elites from across the country to celebrate this occasion together. Teachers Meng Xiang and Li Sha, who are in charge of competitions in the Art School, attended this event.

The 2024 Future Designer NDTC featured three tracks: "Courses," "Cases," and "Works," with 29 provincial competition areas and a total of 2,427 teams/works from 505 universities participating, involving nearly 10,000 teachers.

In this competition, Professor Han Rong's team from the Art School won the first prize in the Case track; Teachers Li Sha and Meng Xiang's team won the second prize in the Course track; Jiangsu University received the Excellent Organization Award. In the Jiangsu Provincial Competition Area, Teacher Li Mingzhu's team won the first prize in the Works track; Teacher Meng Xiang and Teacher Li Mingzhu's teams won the third prize in the Case track separately; Teacher Li Xiao's team won the third prize in the Course track; Jiangsu University was awarded the title of Provincial Excellent Organization. These honors not only demonstrate the Art School's outstanding achievements in promoting teacher teaching competitions but also mark the significant achievements of the school's innovations and reforms in educational concepts and teaching methods.

In the future, the school will continue to introduce more resources to deepen the reform and innovation of teaching modes by focusing on curriculum development, platform construction, a team of renowned teachers, and the incubation and cultivation of teaching achievements. The school aims to effectively improve its educational capacity and achieve more excellent results in national competitions.
