On April 15, 2024, the 61st China Higher Education Expo (CHEE) grandly opened in Fuzhou. Du Yubo, President of the China Association of Higher Education, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Minister of Education, and Lin Wenbin, Vice Governor of the Fujian Provincial People's Government, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The Expo featured two main activities: exhibitions and academic events, attracting over 1,500 participating institutions and more than 6,000 enterprises, with more than 100,000 offline visitors.

The construction plan of the Art School, titled "Advancing the Design of Miniaturized Intelligent Agricultural Machinery for Fragmented Regional Terrain," stood out from 512 application cases and was selected as a "National Innovative Case of University Design Empowering Rural Revitalization." This event was jointly organized by the Future Designer Competition Organizing Committee and the Rural Revival Volunteer Service Center under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, aiming to encourage design disciplines in universities to empower rural revitalization and leverage the "cultivate talent and strengthen morality" function of discipline competitions. It received coverage and broadcasts from media outlets such as the "Learning Power" platform, People's Daily Online, Xinhua News, and Half-Monthly Talk. Han Rong, Dean of the Art School, Sha Chunfa, Vice Dean, and Liu Qingli, Director, were invited to attend the on-site certificate-issuing ceremony.

Over the years, the Art School has leveraged the foundation of the university's agricultural discipline cluster and combined its own disciplinary characteristics to refine the core development concept of "Art Empowering Agriculture with 'One Core, Three Aspects, and Five Points'." Facing the types, stages, and distribution characteristics of agricultural production under the features of "fragmented regional terrain," the school has implemented cross-border cooperative design based on sustainable development principles and continuously promoted the strategy of "designing miniaturized intelligent agricultural machinery." The selection of this case benefited from the development team's refinement of multi-role user behavior characteristics in university-enterprise cooperation, analysis and optimization of agricultural machinery operation modes, and successful identification of measures to reduce sunk costs for small-scale farmers, forming a bidirectional industry where agricultural machinery development supports the cultivation of specialty agriculture.

Furthermore, the selection of this case is one of the derivative achievements of the "Demonstration Base for Public Service Platform for Original IP Protection and Transformation" and the "International Joint Laboratory for Collaborative Innovation in Digital Resources."
