On the afternoon of April 12, 2024, the Art School invited Mr. Guo Qingsheng, the Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the "Future Designer - National Art and Design Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition," to visit our school. He delivered a fascinating special lecture and seminar on the theme of "Promoting Innovation in Art and Design Teaching and Cultivating World-Class Teachers in Art and Design" for teachers and students of our school. Present at the event were Han Rong, Dean of the Art School, Sha Chunfa, Vice Dean, Meng Xiang, the person in charge of the Future Designer series of competitions, and key teachers from various departments.

The event was hosted by Vice Dean Sha Chunfa, who welcomed the arrival of Secretary-General Guo and fully acknowledged the positive impact of the Teaching Innovation Competition and the NCDA Competition on the Art School's participation in discipline competitions, accumulation of teaching achievements, teacher team cultivation, and construction of national first-class majors. He summarized the outstanding results achieved by the Art School in the competitions over the past two years and expressed gratitude to the hard work of the organizing committee.

Secretary-General Guo Qingsheng delivered a lecture covering seven aspects, including the implementation methods of this year's Teaching Innovation Competition, participation rights and benefits in the international competition, innovative measures to bridge the two competitions, paths for integrating competitions with curriculum development, methods for competitions to enhance the refinement of teaching achievements, deep integration of competitions with innovation and entrepreneurship education, and measures to integrate competitions with the concept of "digitalization of education." After the lecture, teacher representatives actively spoke up and engaged in heated discussions and exchanges with Secretary-General Guo, gaining valuable guidance for competition participation.

The series of competition seminars and lectures organized by the Art School are important measures to promote high-quality student discipline competitions and teachers' teaching competitions. They are also crucial tools for driving reform and innovation in teachers' educational concepts and teaching modes. The special events aim to comprehensively enhance the quality of art and design course teaching, provide a platform for teachers to learn and exchange, and cultivate more teachers with innovative spirits, high quality, and international perspectives. In the future, the school will introduce more resources to further deepen and solidify the reform and innovation of teaching modes around curriculum development, platform construction, the team of renowned teachers, and the incubation and cultivation of teaching achievements, and effectively improve its education capabilities.
