From July 5th to 7th, the Party Secretary of the School of Art, Zhu Lixin, and the President, Han Rong, led a delegation to Qingdao to participate in the first China University Science and Art Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo. Organized by China's Good Creativity and National Digital Art Design Competition Organizing Committee and other organizations, the expo brought together 187 universities, 22 experts from the Ministry of Education, and 91 college-level officials from various departments. At the Expo, a five-day showcase of China's University Science and Art Innovation and Entrepreneurship was presented. The aim of this "University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo" was to build a platform for universities to showcase their work to the outside world and promote cooperation. In this way, it further promotes the development of science and art disciplines and industry-education integration in universities, as well as empowers national college students' entrepreneurship, employment, and the digital China strategy.

In the section of the University Science and Art Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo dedicated to graduate design and cultural products, our college showcased the academic characteristics and comprehensive strength of its Visual Communication Design program through profiles of majors, outstanding works, and cultural products. This display received recognition from participating experts and scholars. In the section of the "Third Ultra-Field Digital Creative Summit Forum" at the Expo, President Han Rong was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion on the topic of "Innovation through Technology Change." She shared our college's experience in stimulating student creativity and innovations through technology change and talent cultivation models. In the section of the "72-hour Joint Creation Time Race" at the Expo, students from our Visual Communication Design program submitted logo and mascot design entries based on the theme of the competition. These entries were awarded three bronze prizes in the static group category. 

The expo was based on science and art disciplines construction and industry-education integration, providing our college with many references for deepening art innovation talent training, exploring university-industry cooperation, and industry-education integration in the future. Participating in this event also allowed our college to gather resources from all parties, achieving an organic connection between education, regional innovation, talent development, and industry chains. This provided a guarantee for our students to achieve high-quality employment.
