On July 2nd, the Art School held a pre-departure guidance meeting for the summer 2023 overseas learning program through the Tencent meeting platform. The counselor in charge of the program, Ms. Jiao Menglu, and undergraduate and graduate students participating in the 2023 summer overseas learning program attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Ms. Jiao, the overseas learning project leader, introduced the situation of this summer's overseas learning program. This summer, a total of 16 students will participate in overseas programs, including 8 offline projects and 8 online projects. Ms. Jiao emphasized several aspects of personal safety, foreign affairs discipline and political security for offline projects, including passport and property safety, artistic investigation and itinerary planning. She hoped that students' summer offline study trips would be safe, smooth, and successful. Then, Ms. Jiao introduced the pre-class preparation, course discipline, and course learning aspects of online projects. She encouraged students participating in this project to also consider their future development direction during the project and to write down their feelings during this short-term overseas study program to enable each student to gain experience and have a deeper understanding of life after participating in this program.
The organization of the pre-departure guidance meeting has laid a good foundation for the smooth development of the college's winter overseas learning program. It has provided clear guidance for students who are about to participate in overseas exchanges. The college will also pay close attention to and actively handle the difficulties, problems, and suggestions of students during their learning process to ensure the orderly development of short-term overseas learning projects.
