On April 6, 2022, the 10th National College Digital Art Design Competition (NCDA) was held in full swing, attracting the attention of more than 500 teachers and students of the art college. Teachers and students of all majors actively prepared for the competition under the unified deployment of the college.

The Art school held a symposium, which carried out extensive discussions from the aspects of event dynamics, track layout, work selection, interdisciplinary cooperation, international cooperation, etc., retained the traditional advantage track of the school's teachers and students, and actively guided students to participate in new characteristic tracks, such as the "new long March, start again - New Long March cultural and creative design competition in Yudu county", which combines ideological and political education content and practice; "Qingyuan district cultural tourism creative design public welfare competition" combining the Rural Revitalization Strategy and the "agriculture related" characteristics of our school; "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals public welfare event" with international vision and international university cooperation; "National art design teachers' teaching innovation competition" to promote art design teaching innovation, etc. At present, the creation and guidance of various works are carried out in an orderly manner.

Teachers and students of the art college participated in a series of online learning activities organized by the Organizing Committee for many times during the preliminary preparation for the competition, such as the publicity of the 10th future designer NCDA competition, the design and practice of rural cultural and creative products in the context of rural revitalization, the publicity of the public welfare competition of cultural tourism creative design in Qingyuan District, how college students create a game, how to quickly create games with a mini world without foundation "Understand the source of the long march to the future", etc. From these rich learning activities, we have a deeper understanding of the competition rules, found new competition opportunities, mastered new creative methods, promoted the interdisciplinary practice integration, and played a positive role in cultivating new talents.

The National College Digital Art Design Competition (NCDA) is a high-level national professional competition. The "student group" and "teacher group" competitions were selected into the "national general college discipline competition ranking list" and the "national general college teacher teaching competition project" issued by the Chinese Association of higher education. It is one of the important competition projects in college education and teaching reform and innovative talent training, and has a wide influence. Every year, nearly 1 million college students from 1500 colleges and universities participate, and nearly 90% of 985, first-class universities and well-known design colleges and universities participate. It has been publicized and reported by authoritative media such as the "learning power" learning platform and praised by United Nations agencies.

Art school of Jiangsu University has been participating since 2020, and has won 290 awards above the provincial level, 50 national awards and 8 national first prizes in the two competitions. Due to the excellent performance of the competition and the excellent organization of the competition, Jiangsu University won the "outstanding contribution award" in the eighth competition and the "outstanding contribution award" in the ninth competition. In the opening competition "poster design teachers' competition" of the 10th competition, Dean Han Rong of the School of art won the national second prize and teacher Jia Hongmei won the excellent award, which made a good start for this competition. Under the careful organization of the college, all teachers and students continue to carry forward the teaching reform characteristics of the Art School of "promoting teaching, learning and reform through competition", focus on discipline competitions, improve students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability in competitions, and cultivate excellent art design professionals with cultural confidence.
