On October 19, 2019, the academic seminar "Zhenjiang and Chinese art history" sponsored by the school of art of Jiangsu university and co-organized by the library was held in the lecture hall of the library of our university. The Jiangsu university professor YanXiaoHong, the standing committee of the communist party propaganda minister to attend the opening ceremony of the conference professor Jin Lifu 30 guests attending the meeting, including more than 20 domestic top-ranking journal editing, and scholars from Beijing, Shanghai, Anhui, Sichuan, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Changzhou, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou and other places of experts and scholars of culture art friends, in town, part of the teachers in colleges and universities, graduate students, undergraduate students attended the conference.

Yan xiaohong, President of jiangsu university, delivered a speech on behalf of the university. He pointed out that zhenjiang has been an important art city since ancient times. He hopes that through this academic conference, zhenjiang will continue to extend the opportunity between zhenjiang and Chinese art history, and promote the great development of art discipline construction, art teaching research and aesthetic education in jiangsu university.

The meeting is divided into two halves in the afternoon. In the first half of the conference, professor zhang hongwei, director of the institute of imperial palace studies of the Palace Museum, and professor zhu qingsheng of Peking University respectively delivered keynote speeches on "zhenjiang and Chinese art history from the perspective of imperial palace studies" and "the first river in the world -- scale, city and history". After meeting successively with: "special art history in the song dynasty: Sue, centered on exam", "eye of the guide: books, prints, and as a Tibetan history studies", "regional vision: Beijing three mountain and jtao school", "the late Ming dynasty: a geographical and image generation legend", "regional and traditional: painting and painting thought research", "zhenjiang and ring taihu: art archaeology and cross-cultural research" six theme events. This paper analyzes the origin of zhenjiang and Chinese art history from the perspectives of scholars' intercourse, collection, image, painting theory and art archaeology. Each time, 3-4 guests will make keynote speeches and conduct academic discussions with reviewers. Professor Zhang Hongwei, director of the institute of imperial palace studies of the Palace Museum, delivered a keynote speech on "Zhenjiang and Chinese art history from the perspective of imperial palace studies" (morning session). He Shared the relationship between Zhenjiang and Chinese art history from four aspects: the isomorphism between Zhenjiang and Chinese art history is not only an important part of the composition, but also a representative of typical regional art.

Han gang, professor of Sichuan university, shared "the relationship between Mi Fu and Song Huizong -- the relationship between Mi fu and Song Huizong.

Mr. Yu shihua, director of Chinese Sushi research society and member of Zhenjiang society of historical and cultural cities, shared the "two dialectics of the communication between Sushi and Mifu", and analyzed whether Su and Mi had met in Runzhou.

Yang na, associate professor from Nanjing University of Arts, shared "Sushi's thoughts on Wang Wei's poetry and painting." She pointed out that Su shi's important judgment in "you postscript han jie painting mountain two" essentially gave full play to wang wei's thoughtspainting and pointed out the way for the future development of literati painting.

In the first half of the conference "song dynasty art history: a survey of communication centered on su and mi" expert report, reviewers professor wei bin and scholars discuss the topic.

In the second meeting of the first half, after the expert report of "the reader's vision: books, prints and the history of appreciation and collection", professor zhang hongwei, the reviewer, discussed the topic with the scholars.

In the first half of the third conference "regional vision: jingkou sanshan and jingjiang painting school" expert report after the end, reviewers associate professor li xiaofei and scholars to discuss the topic.

After the expert report of the first meeting of the second half "late Ming dynasty: a legend of region and image generation", the reviewer, associate professor ren junwei, discussed the topic with the scholars.

In the second half of the second conference "region and tradition: painting theory and study of painting thought" expert report, reviewers Mr. Han gang and scholars to discuss the topic.

In the second half of the third conference "Zhenjiang and the surrounding taihu lake: art archaeology and cross-cultural research" after the end of the expert report, reviewers professor zhu qingsheng and scholars to discuss the topic.

At last, Dr. Jiang Yongshuai from school of arts of Jiangsu University made a conclusion of the academic seminar. He pointed out that the significance of the conference was not only the collision and resonance between several scholars, but also the important thing was to let students learn and understand the spirit and methods of studying, so as to pass on the spirit of the conference.

During the meeting, the delegates also inspected Zhenjiang historical and cultural relics such as the jiaoshan stone tablet forest and miyuanzhang tomb. Through the academic sharing of many influential art history scholars in China, this conference will join hands in front of new goals and opportunities, inherit the traditional context, accelerate the pace of innovation, and strive to expand the research space of art history. At the same time, we will build an academic communication platform to share the development trend and innovative path of art history research in the new era, tell China's story well and spread China's voice well.
